Indian villages of a different time and space

Urban Life:
Life brings lot more hustle bustle in big cities,
man and machines are in a close race to move forward,
as fast as they could.
That brings monotony,
and a kind of coldness of metal creeps in,
to our personal lives too.

Rural life:
For the change,
a visit to an Indian village,
just reinvigorates.
As life there still in a different time and space,
where people have time to share their grief and happiness both,
life at a little slow pace but more humane still.

A picture report:
Following are the pictures of such a village visited recently,
where morning rituals starts with the rising sun,

where women and girls are equally involved in their farm works,

where machines are less interfering,
(but they are there to certain extent),
pollution least,
people paying less to the cost of pollution healthwise.

When sun goes missing and warmth is lost

It was a beautiful morning..
Sun was out..
Pink was horizon..

Suddenly mist came from nowhere..
It enveloped all and everything..
Sun was lost..

People were all busy, oblivious to the mist..
Pangs of lost sun and warmth was all I had with..

I tried to become fictional for a while..
Lo, I found fictional characters more real..
They had bodies and heartbeats of their own,
just like the real one..

It is my new found world..
of
illusions..

Monsoon Time

Clouds up in the sky..
And drops, down on our earth..

Water down through our veins..
And life pulsating underneath..

Expression taken many forms..
And our Moms calling our name..

....Green !
....Red !!
....Yellow !!!

And the answer is,
Monsoon..
Rain..
Eye..
and Tears !!

Human emotions and alleys of Indian village

Every city bears a personality.
Rickshaw-pullers, Pan (betel leaf)-sellers define a city through their nature.

But these days, the global effects are so predominant that even all cities are comically trying to be like that of New York.
All air-ports even look alike.

Actually when we try to search the character of a city or town, we often find that
the nation they them self are on the verge of loosing their endemic character.

Whole humanity looks as if on a chaotic run. Aimlessness and speed is at all the places.
Every forehead is having wrinkle and tiredness in all the veins.
Every face with anxiety and burning in the eyes....

Heart searches for a place ..
of some peace ..
with some past and some values..
with a culture to rely on ..
some rest,
so that we could find love and peace in our soul which eternally belongs to us ..

And
a place to share with..
Whose alleys are still echoing the past..
Where our childhood footprints are still there..
Looking pictures is like throwing our self in time warp..

India is a place of
contrast and contradictions..
and this village is no less than that..

Time Dreamer

Hot days....,
Cool nights....,
and
Moon is out........trying to come up....from above the trees....!!

Jackals howl at distant fields....
Crickets with chorus somewhere very near....
Fire-flies with shallow flights....but at some short bushes, dancing in the bigger group;
....darkness creeping in the deep shadows of the 'mango' trees....!!

That's how my village is at this hour of the night !!

Love, greetings and DREAMS to share from this natural
 in·habi·tation of the nature....!!

And soon I shall dream tonight of 'a day'....

When crow will call the sun to come up,
and I shall be attired as a newly wed groom with a bride aside,
....the priest will sing invocations to God in an open temple below the shades of the trees to witness....!!

And the people will look at things in a somber mood,
and gradually all villagers shall come to witness the occasion to see me attired in full-groomed as I was aeons ago....!!

Perhaps the last dream,
before I 'go back to the sea'
and make a journey into the unknown....... !!
